manufactured flashlight

WHAT IS IT?:

As a part of MIT’s Mechanical Engineering Tools Course (2.670), I took a three-day manufacturing techniques workshop. The goal of this intensive was to develop basic hands on manufacturing skills and produce a full functional flashlight.

ROLE:

During this class I worked in MIT's Pappalardo Lab and learned how to use machine tools including the bandsaw, mill, and lathe to measure, cut and assemble parts to a flashlight.
